So yeah, for a while I've been wondering what kanji were used to write Kuronue. Figured the kuro was "black", but the nue left me wondering. For a while I thought it was "above" or ue, and a n was tacked on front to make it flow better. Now I'm pretty sure that the nue is 鵺 "fabulous night bird; chimera" [link] . If you don't agree with me, its your right. If someone knows what the kanji are from some art book or something then yay, tell me and possibly link a photo of it so I can see for myself.
